Results of surgical treatment of primary liver cancer that invase into main venous vessels
AbstractThe goal of research was result improving of patient treatment with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with portal vein (PV) and inferior vena cava (IVC) inva- sion. The research includes the 1 group – 22 patients with HCC with PV invasion ІІ–ІІІ st. (J. Shi, 2011) that were operated for hepatectomy, PV resection and portoplastic, 2 group – 16 patients with HCC with IVC invasion, that were operated for hepatectomy, IVC resection and cavaplastic, and the control group – 62 patient with PV invasion I st. (J. Shi), operated only for hepatectomy. The mortality rate was 9,1%, 12,5% and 8,1% in the 1, 2 and in the control group respectively. Aggressive surgical approach in case of hepatocellular carcinoma with PV and IVC invasion increases long-term survival of the patients.
