Gastropancreatoduodenal resection in surgical treatment of complicated cancer of right colon

Abstract

In this article discussed surgical approach in treatment of complicated local advanced cancer of right colon with invasion in upper gastrointestinal organs. Multivisceral resection – right hemicolectomy with gastropancreatoduodenal resection was done for all patients. Detailed surgical technique and «tips and tricks» are described. Discussed appropriateness of extended surgery with resection of biliodigestive organs.
