Giant mesenchimal hamartoma of the liver: case report

Abstract

Mesenchimalhamartoma( MH) ofthe liver–rarebenign livertumor, with chance of malignancy. In this article, we report a case of radical treatment MH at 2-year-old child. Assessment base on computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging data was performed to examine angioarchitectonics and volume of not affected section of the liver. This case report illustrates opportunities of radical surgical treatment of the extensive focal liver tumors in conditions of specialized department, with experience of liver resections as well as liver transplantation.
