Abstract

The article presents a rare localization of teratomas in children according to the observations of the authors for the years 2003–2015. During this period, on the basis of the clinical department of hospital pediatric surgery TashPMI were examined and treated 69 children. Sacrococcygeal teratomas were found in 52 (75.4%), a rare localization – in 17 (24.6%) of children aged 1 month to 14 years. Among the observed girls were 42 (60.9%), boys – 27 (39.1%). For diagnostic purposes, the children performed together with conventional clinical laboratory ultrasound studies, MSCT, sigmoidoscopy, ergography, excretion urography.
