Electric storm in surgical treatment for complicated prosthetic valve endocarditis with aortic valve ring abscess
Abstract This report shows protocol for diagnosis and non-invasive methods of treatment for electrical storm in a patient who underwent surgical treatment for complicated prosthetic valve endocarditis with aortic valve ring abscess.
We assume that the frequency of such life-threatening complications is higher than the frequency of their description and analysis in the literature because of the difficulties to achieve a real success of the treatment. That is why we present here the history of the disease, in spite of the unsatisfactory final result of a whole range of modern medical methods.
