Abstract

6th of December, 2013, will mark 100 years since the birth of the outstanding surgeon, scientist and public figure, Hero of Socialist labor, Laureate of Lenin and three state prizes of Ukraine, Academician of NAS and AMS of Ukraine, Honoured Science Worker of Ukraine, Professor, Doctor of medical Sciences Nikolay Amosov – the founder of cardiac surgery, biological Cybernetics in Ukraine, the famous writer, the outstanding public figure. Many sides of his talent, originality of thoughts, his contribution to science and health protection, high moral qualities made him one of the most famous people of the USSR and Ukraine, brought him to worldwide fame glory and honor.
