Surgical treatment of myocardial echinococcosis of the left ventricle of the heart

Abstract

Despite development of various modern diagnostic methods, timely detection of echinococcus still remains a complicated task and an urgent problem of medical parasitology. Optimal treatment tactics for such patients allows obtaining good results with radical surgical treatment. Two rare cases of multifocal echinococcosis are presented, including left ventricle myocardium involvement.
