Endovascular occlusion in pulmonary hemorrhage

Abstract

In this article the last data about such surgical pathology as pulmonary hemorrhage are presented. The ethiology, pathogenesis, main types of pulmonary hemorrhage classification and diagnostic and treatment algorithm of endovascular hemostasis are described. Moreover in the article detailed clinical case report of modified bronchial artery embolization is given. Their identification and result of aberrant bronchial arteries occlusion in arteria thoracica lateralis territory is illustrated. This technology proved to be not only effective, but simply necessary for specialty care service in division of thoracic surgery.
