Pathogenetic approaches in the treatment of patients with severe acute pancreatitis

Abstract

Aim of the research – to increase the effectiveness of complex treatment of patients with acute pancreatitis by reducing the effects of thrombohemorrhagic syndrome and microcirculation disorders with the help of cryoplasmic-antienzyme therapy and correction of proteinase-inhibitory imbalance in blood and lesion.

Material and methods. The analysis of the results of treatment of 446 patients with acute pancreatitis of moderate and severe degree was carried out. 213 (47.8%) patients made up the basic group, in the complex treatment of which cryoplasma-antienzyme therapy and local administration of proteolysis inhibitors were used. 233 (52.2%) patients who made the comparison group underwent a common treatment for acute pancreatitis.

Results. This pathogenetic approach in the treatment of patients with acute pancreatitis allowed to reduce lethality from 21.5 to 12.7%.

Conclusion. The use of the cryoplasmic-antienzyme combination and local administration of proteinase inhibitors in complex therapy in patients with acute severe pancreatitis, may improve the outcomes of the disease.
