Editorial
Abstract
Dear readers,
The first decade of
our journal history is closed by this issue. 39 issues have been prepared and
528 articles have been published on various problems of clinical and
experimental surgery, basic fundamental problems of transplantology, immunology
and genetics. The journal has come to notice outside of Russia, and our
colleagues from 15 countries have published their research results in the
journal. Over the last two years, the volume of each issue has considerably
increased, but, despite this, the editorial portfolio is always full of new
original articles against the backdrop of a strict selection of articles to be
published. The editorial board rotates and improves but the basic principle of
our journal remains stable: through fundamental knowledge to practical effect.
This journal issue is
original in its concept: for the first time we have taken a decision to
dedicate it completely to describing rare observations in surgical practice.
There is no doubt that an unusual observation, in case of a decent smart
analysis, can beat dozens of pages of statistical results automatically
calculated.
We invite all our
regular and new readers to cooperation in the second decade of our journal.
