Emergency replacement of the thoracoabdominal aorta Extent II without cardiopulmonary bypass in a patient with Hageman’s disease

Abstract

The clinical observation is devoted to the successful treatment of a patient with Crawford type II thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm (TAAA) with aortic tear in the posterior mediastinum. The operation was carried out on an emergency basis. In the preoperative period, the patient was found to have a deficiency of XII coagulation factor (Hageman’s disease), as a result of which it was decided to perform surgery without the use of cardiopulmonary bypass and visceral perfusion. The planned and implemented protocol for the management of the patient made it possible to discharge the patient from the hospital on the 12th day after the operation without pronounced coagulation disorders.
