Surgical correction of atriomegaly in long-standing rheumatic mitral valve disease
Abstract
This article
describes the surgical correction of atriomegaly in long-standing rheumatic
mitral valve disease, which caused deformation of the whole cardiac structure,
including the development of atriomegaly.
Keywords:atriomegaly; giant left atrium; atrioplasty; rheumatic mitral valve disease
