Dear colleagues,
Contributions almost
for all sections for which our journal has been certified are presented in this
issue. Definitely it shows reputation and potentials of our journal. At the
same time, being so popular comes laden with certain difficulties.
First, the number of
contributions has considerably risen, which makes it impossible for us to
include all of them in the official 4 annual issues. Even though the volume of
each issue has already increased by 6 articles. As a result, experts recommend
them to be submitted to journals which are more focused on such topics.
Second, we are
compelled to considerably toughen our requirements for following our guide to
subediting: an article is subject to expert review only if the text length, and
the number of figures and tables are complied with. One should always edit,
Anton Chekhov: “Brevity is the soul of wit”. It is very difficult, but at the
same time is perfectly true. But, agree, it's better to have 5 pages in
magazine, than 10 in the basket.
