Clinical case of conservative treatment of venous trophic ulcer against the background of multiple drug intolerance

Abstract

Trophic ulcers are the most common complication of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, occurring in about 2% of the working population. It often leads to social exclusion of patients, increases the period of disability and reduces the quality of life. A case of effective complex conservative treatment of a venous trophic ulcer in a patient with multiple drug intolerance is presented. The patient underwent a standard clinical examination, duplex ultrasound of the veins of the lower extremities was performed. Compression therapy was carried out with anti-ulcer stockings of RAL-GZ 387 standard and neuromuscular stimulation of the lower leg. Drug therapy was not used due to drug intolerance. Complete healing of the trophic ulcer was noted in 2.5 months of this treatment.
