Cholecystogastric fistula. Multidisciplinary experience in diagnosing and treating a rare complication of cholelithiasis

Abstract

Cholecystogastric fistula is a rare complication of cholelithiasis, which is not only extremely dangerous for the patient, but also presents a difficult task for both the operating surgeon and diagnostic specialists. In this paper, we present a clinical case of a 70-year-old patient who approached our hospital about gallstone disease, chronic calculous cholecystitis, complicated by the formation of cholecystogastric fistula, choledocholithiasis, cholangitis. The article describes the main stages of diagnosis and the option of successful surgical treatment of a patient in a multidisciplinary hospital.
