Abstract

Persistent calls to overcome the consequences of sanctions imposed on Russia inevitably lead to the active work of all government structures, including science. In medicine, this is especially important and noticeable since for many post-perestroika years we complacently and light-mindedly used the ideas and protocols developed by Western professionals. There was nothing infringing in this international cooperation... But today it is time to restore our competencies and there is a danger not only of self-deception in assessing one’s scientific results, but also of hidden plagiarism, which can provoke another era of stagnation. I am sure that one of the effective (maybe the most significant, despite the ministries and academies) checkpoints on the path of pseudoscientific or falsely inflated publications should be Russian scientific journals. Anyway, our editors are going to do their best protecting purity and significance of worthy works of Russian researchers and doctors.

We have pleasure to offer you the first issue of our journal in 2025!
