AIMS AND SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

Journal “Clinical and Experimental Surgery. Petrovsky journal– a broad-based journal on surgery established to merge all the surgical specialties into the integrated intellectual space provided with up to date systems of communication and information. Following this aim the on-line support of the journal involves extended version and multimedia materials.

As soon as the modern surgery has exceeded the scopes of the application-oriented science, the editorial board will encourage the researches of academic importance and facilitate creation of the fresh lines of research as well as the translation of the research results into the practical surgery. Broad-based profile of the journal and multidisciplinary approach to the arrangement of the research materials are to create a start point for the discussions activating the development of the innovative, joint cross-sectoral and international projects.

The journal publishes editorial and original articles, reports from practice and analytical reviews containing assessments of the new medical technologies. Such a scale of publications will permit, on one hand, to define the most actual problems and issues of the routine surgical practice, and, on the other hand, to receive the feed-back on the results of the technologies already implemented in the practical healthcare.

The journal represents the sections covering educational, moral-ethical and legal aspects of surgery. The editors hope this would co-opt the family of the readers and authors with those who had no opportunity to earlier publish their works in such a format for the specific target auditory.

Wide involvement of the foreign colleagues in the editorial board and bilingual version reflect our openness and our willingness to see the results of research and surgical activities of different medical schools published on the pages of our journal. Fast progress in information technologies provides quite unique opportunity for intensive cooperation for the doctors and scientists from different countries without regard to the borders and distances.
